The impression I got (and I notice Robert's NOT commenting) was that he's imprisoned in the skull, but the skull isn't doing the talking. That we'll actually see Terrance Mann instead of a voiceover, doing an Al from Quantum Leap as an adviser who can't interact with the world.
Well it would be hard to make a skull talk. And I can see the whole Al thing working. *nod nod* Wouldn't have a problem with that, I wouldn't.

And as for Bob, from a SFX viewpoint, this is probably the least expensive of all the solutions that have been bandied about. That leaves more budget for 'splosions! Or scary monsters or pretty sets or delicious pie for all the crew. Mmm, pie. Yummy! What issue is this? I JUST got December's in the mail. I think someone's pinchin' my mag at the post office. According to Becky, it has whatserface, Kate from Lost on the cover. Evangeline Lilly.

I mean, what is up with that, Robert? I thought the M's were making your head explode. And you go and take one of the few non-M names and make it an M name. Uhh... I had a fit of madness? Usually explains most thin.... grrrr..... rrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... gggeehhhyeaahhhhhhhh.... Um, where were we? *snerks* I was just looking through some of Robert's old posts for his rationalization of the hockey stick, and I randomly found this. You chide Jim for the Morningway thing? Back in June? For shame. M drama aside, this show is shaping up to kick ass. Robert, make sure the rest of the team knows how much we appreciate what they're doing! (And get us some cellos for the real thing!)

Hey, I picked up a copy this evening and paged through it cover to cover. There are at least three more Dresden related bits. I don't have a scanner though. I will type up the first one on pg. 14:
S P O I L E R W A R N I N G!
TV IN FOCUS - THE DRESDEN FILES "DRESDEN HAS A UNIQUE perspective about human motivation or demonic motivation or warlock motivation. It's not unlike a detective in the Raymond Chandler world or the John D. MacDonald world or Robert Parker...the detective who was on the force who saw the good and the bad and when he hangs up his shingle he is uniquely suited to see the world in a certian way," says executive producer David Simkins. Of course, this detective is Harry Dresden, and he also happens to be a wizard.
In "Birds of a Feather," Dresden is hired by a 10-year-old boy "who is afraid that his family is being hunted by monsters. It appears in the first act that the kid is very overimaginative and the mom has been dealing with this for a while. There's a moment between Dresden and the mother, sort of a coffee-table moment in her kitchen, where she confesses her sorrows to Dresden about trying to raise the boy. And then we find out that the kid is not completely wrong about what's circling his family."
And in "The Boone Identify," a convict "named Gus Boone has the perfect escape plan. He breaks out of jail and then breaks out of his own body by using an Egyptian death ritual, which involves screwing around with the afterlife. So Dresden is on the hunt for this escaped convict, who jumps into the body of somebody very close to him," says Simkins.
And then there's a werewolf on the loose in Chicago. "But it's not your typical werewolf story. It's got a little bit of spin on it. Sort of a Scully/Mulder aspect, where there are FBI agents who are investigating a serial killing, and Dresden knows what they're investigating, and they may or may not know."
For more on The Dresden Files, turn to page 22. _________________________
Page 22 happens to be the two page article. There are two pictures with this little article.
Paul is #7 in the male side of the Sexy in '07 list. And there's a little blurb with the picture. This is on page 46.
And my favourite, full page promo image with the tag line and the logo on page 65.
"If you need help, call the cops If you need a miracle, call Harry Dresden." The Dresden Files
I included page numbers so wonderful people like Priscellie and Becky could help out with scanning if they wanted to.

LOL
Amber, I thought about that as I read it that it seems that Bob may be back in the skull. And I after your comment remembered that they had said he was going to be in a fire place.
Which caused me to think of a 'calderon' (I know that it is not wizardly) and Harry making a potion in it over "Bob-in-the-fireplace" and it splashing out for some reason and the "Bob-in-the-fireplace" scolding yelling at Harry, "Harry, I have alreadybeen cursed I dont need a shower as well"
"Holy Crap Batman!" I really hope that's not going to happen; the "Bob-in-the-fireplace" thing. Too 'Howl's Moving Castle' you know. The greatness of the Dresden Files is it's originality. If all else, they must be true to that. (climbing down off soap box now )

CRAP! You're on to us! We spent the entire SFX budget on pie! How did you know? How did you freaking know?!? Yeah, it's like 5 am and I've been up way too late. Time for bed. Night.
