Ok, I know whoever is doing the marketing has a great sense of humor.

When I picked up today's Scientific American and was reading through it, I was quite surprised to see this 'letter to the editor' on its own page. If this is uncool, apologies, I just wanted to share it with my fellow Dresden Fans. To Scientific American and/or SCI FI Channel, I apologize if 'duplicating' this ad this violates any copyright laws.
The ad I see is on page 18A... I'll scan the page in a bit and edit my post to include it, but the basic text says this:
HARRY DRESDEN SAYS...
"I am a long-time reader, first time writer,
and full-time holistic P.I"
To the Editor:I am a long time reader, first-time writer, and full-time holistic P.I. My name is Harry Dresden; You probably haven't heard of me yet, but trust me, you will. I solve the crimes the police can't solve, without the help of modern technology.
While I am used to a fair amount of skepticism about magic, I would be able to do my job better, and faster, if I didn't have to convince potential customers that I am not a fraud, creep or lunatic. I'm not looking for a leap of faith; that's a lot to ask from science-minded people. But you can talk to any of my satisfied customers. Or better yet, make an appointment and find out for yourself. I'm in the book. Maybe you'll want to do an article about me. And maybe I'll even let you.
For anyone else reading this letter who wants the truth about me (or holistic science) feel free to check out my cases when they premiere this January on SCI FI CHANNEL. Or call 1-866-97-HARRY.
Waiting for you - to the left of science,
Harry DresdenI tell you, I about fell off my chair when I opened this tonight. It DOES have the word 'advertisement' at the top of the page in about a 5 pont font... Now, as soon as I can get my scanner uncovered, I'll post the image on my web server and link it to this post.

If you need a bigger version, this file is 1MB in size, and hosted on my DSL, so please be nice.
