eeek so happy jim's said in twitter the short story he's writing is from john marcone's POV and is called  "even hand" . he's also given the first line of the story "A successful murder is like a successful restaurant: Ninety percent of it is about location, location, location."   yay i'm soo happy this is my favourite character

That sounds awesome. I wonder if its going to be released in one of the collections or a stand alone how Back Up was.

Sounds good. I really like to know how he views Harry. I guess it would be like a great big dog. If you don't piss him off its OK but if you mess with him beyond a certain point he is going to tear you up.

Could we get our first taste of what others see when they SEE into Harry's eyes. Marcone has done that before, could he in this book, tell us what it feels like/what he saw?

I think Jim said in Changes we get to see Harry's soulgaze. Or someone will describe it. (I'm guessing Eb will tell Harry)

Wow!  I am excited too, from Marcone's point of view!  He is also one of my favorite characters and in my opinion one of the most complex of the Dresdenverse..  Is he really as conflicted as he appears to be sometimes?  You know, those times when Harry is forced to admit he kind of likes the guy when he knows he is just bad news and he shouldn't?

If it happens in changes it would most likely be from Susans Point of View. Considering she is the one that passed out it would be the most dramatic. I would also like to see it from Marcone's.

I don't get the feeling he likes Marcone but he respects him. Given the creatures he deals with that he can't trust, Mab, Denarians, etc that means something to him but I don't think he likes him. He is still a 'scumbag mobster' to Harry, just one he respects.

Thanks for posting this!  I love Marcone.  Is there any ETA on his story?  Not that I'm pushing.  Wink
