Thanks, JRBobC! That helped.

@Shecky - I AM already on twitter. But I still can't figure out how to use the damn thing. How do you send somebody a message? I mean, not posting your stupid status, but actually sending someone particular a message?

One of three ways:

1) In your "What are you doing?" box, type the person's Twitter name (e.g., @longshotauthor), put one space and then type the message you want them to get.
2) Find a tweet they've made and hover your mouse around until you find the curly arrow that pops up "reply to _____".
3) If you mean a direct message, click on "Direct Messages" in the right-hand menu bar, and on the next page, you'll see "Send _____ a direct message", which is a list of all the people who follow you. You can only send a direct message to someone who's following you, by the way.

Quick question(s).  When will this be released?  Any release date yet for "The Naked City"?  Has a date been set for the Dresden Short Story Anthology Book?

Okay.  More like three, but eh.  Those are the only ones I know about, except for "Long and Stormy Knights".  That one isn't supposed to be due until Oct/Nov/Dec of 2010 I believe.

"The Naked City" and "Dark and Stormy Knights" are both due out in Spring 2010, last I knew.  The short story anthology book is scheduled for late 2010.  Not sure about "Star-Crossed Lovers."

The short story masterlist is finally updated, btw. Cheesy

Didn't Jim mention writing a 'Hawai' short story before going on to Changes? Or maybe this has been renamed and is one and the same? In that case I'm not so sure about Murph and Kincaid as 'starcrossed lovers'. But whatever happened in Hawai, it certainly did hurt.

It could also about Thomas and Justine, but with the state Thomas is in now, I'm doubtful: any development to Thomas's condition should be main plot material. Some more development between Harry and Murph perhaps? Would be a nice follow-up to the more "interesting" moments in Last Call, and it sure would make Changes's opener a hell of a lot more awkward.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think the Hawaii story will be one of the exclusive stories included with the upcoming Anthology short story collection.

That was the original plan!  The current plan is for Jim to write either three short stories (one of which will probably be "Hawaii") or one longer novelette.

The first thought that comes to my mind upon hearing that title, as LordDresden points out, is Thomas and Justine - it plays on the cliche concept (which we know Jim loves to do) and it fits their situation in a literal sense. Frankly there are no other White Court candidates. Inari? No longer a vamp. Lara? Hahahahahaha... Lord Raith? *I'm shooting milk out of my nostrils*

Since there has been a short with Thomas already, I'm inclined to think that this is for another character. Since everyone seems to be more successful romantically than Harry, there's a huge chance this hurting will be Harry's. Other candidates: Ivy perhaps? Her situation makes love (even non romantic) a dangerous thing to her.

That's...an interesting point, since the Archive host-ness is passed down Mother to Daughter. To keep the chain up, Ivy would have to have something of a social life? XP

And not only that, so does every Archive previously.

I am unsure why so many people seem to think "Ivy becoming a teenager" is a prospect to be dreaded when its not as if the Archive has not successfully endured so many generations already.
