Dog-Eared Books is delighted to announce another Virtual Signing for the release of First Lord's Fury!  Jim will be signing copies of First Lord's Fury and the new paperback edition of Princeps' Fury.

sad day... I would love a signed copy... but I am in crazy budget mode.. so I'm getting my copy from walmart.com for 8 something... with free shipping....

DAGNABBIT! After I had already pounced on the Amazon pre-order... well its a good thing the holiday's are coming, mayhaps if I some how slip the link to my gf she will get me the signed copy for x-mas!!

I just cancelled my Amazon order and went to the Dog Eared Books site to get my signed copies! I am about to checkout but first i want to know what exactly a  virtual signing is? Will Jim actually be signing my copies? Or is it something else. I guess what I want to know is what the "Virtual" in virtual signing really means.

Usually, book signing involves you standing in line to get a couple seconds face time with the author who then signs it for you in person.

Virtual means there's no line, you don't see him... but he does sign it, just for you.

You want to know if you can cancel an order from Amazon? Sure. And since the book hasn't been released yet you won't be charged. Amazon doesn't charge til the book is actually shipped. It is a lot more expensive to buy the signed copy however. But the signed copy of the PF paperback is only $9.99! Or you can just do what i did and spend the extra cash and get both. I think it will be money well spent.
