Email Tina if you want to double check your status. She was great in getting back to me. They probably can't predict an arrival date, you should be able to track your purchase through whoever is shipping it to you, so maybe you get a tracking number once it is sent out to you. Hah and yeah I am guilty of purchasing another copy, I don't want to crack the spine on my signed copy.

Has anybody heard from dog eared yet? The ship date was supposed to be no later than today, but i haven't gotten any kind of email that it has shipped. Actually haven't heard anything since i first ordered it on 11/12. Are they just going to send it without letting us know? I don't care if they are going to just send it, but at the same time I'm a little worried that i haven't heard anything. I was thinking about emailing Tina but I don't want to make them think that I'm trying to rush them. At least I have read FLF already and am about to read it again because of the extreme awesomeness of the book. I bought it from Barnes and Noble to have as a copy to read and treat as crappy as i treat the rest of my books. I don't want to even hurt the signed copy.
Has anyone got the signed copy yet?

I got my 2 copies (one for me, one as a gift for my dad) of FLF from Dog Eared today.  This is the second time I have ordered from them (the last time was for Princeps Fury).  Both times I have been very excited to get signed copies and then utterly frustrated when they show up.  Both times I have paid what I consider a large shipping price (ebay is usually $4 for a single book or 6 for multiple), and both times the books were shipped in a cheap envelop with minamal packing.  Both packages have gotten to my house mangled, and both times I have recieved a damaged book.  The first time the book cover (not jacket, but cover) had a large cut in it (picture a narrow blunt object hitting the cover and going into it about a inch and a half, I was lucky enough to snag another signed copy of this book from Uncle Hugo's) and this time I received a book with a tear in the jacket about an inch long.  Now I don't know if this is due to the poor packaging or whether it is due to Dog Eared books not screening their books.  Either way I will never order a book from them again.  If I pay 8.50 for shipping I expect a box.  I have also ordered books from the Signed Page (the Dresden books and others).  Shipping is even more expensive, but the books are shipped in boxes and are immaculate when they show up (I just recieved Chaosbound from them).  I am a book collector and am very particular about the condition of my books.  What Dog Eared books has sent me not once, but twice is unacceptable.

Have you emailed them and told them this?
They might be willing to replace them for you, if they were damaged.

My signed copies came today! The packaging did suck, but the books were in perfect condition so I'm not complaining.

You're lucky.

To reply to DragonFire I have sent an email to Dog Eared Books, but at this point it is less hassle and stress for me to just replace the damaged cover and move on with my life.  After being burned twice I don't think I could trust them sending me anything in the future.

Fair enough....I don't order books internationally if I cna help it...as much as I'd love some signed stuff....it's just a massive cost.

I just thought Dog Eared might replace a faulty product (and thus you get your signed copy).
