So I just ordered Changes on the linked site, the payment went through, but when I completed my order it redirected me to a page that did not excist.
I take it itīs a minor error and this page was just costum made by Dog-Eared books to say thanks for your order or something like this.
But my order should be completed correctly right? as long as paypal had delivered the money which they have according to the mail i recived from them.
I sure hope everything went as it was supposed to.

Email them and check. Be sure to have your order number on hand.

I don't know, as I've never done this. But if Paypal says your transaction went through, I guess there'd be a transaction number for DEB as well. Just email them and start the process; chances are they'll be willing to work with you.

Your PayPal transaction number should be all DEB needs to verify your order.  You'll be able to sort everything out, no worries!

Yep, Tina at DEB is very helpful. Ordered five copies of TC last year and all went smoothly despite a few queries on my part.

I ordered the signed copies of First Lords Fury hardcover and the paperback of Princeps Fury in the fall. It took a while to get the books in, but it was well worth the wait, and i definitely wanted to do it again for the newest Dresden Files book. I have a question though. I clicked on the headline on the home page about it and it says the same thing it did for FLF. That you can get signed, personalized copies of Changes and Turn Coat. What exactly does personalized mean? It sounds like Jim will write something personal to me if i ordered it, but that didn't happen with FLF. I just got the books and he just signed his name which is cool by me. Is there someway to get Mr. Butcher to write something else in addition to his name? I never saw anything asking if i wanted it personalized or not at Dog-Eared last time around. Or am i just completely misunderstanding what personalized means? Thanks

Personalized means you can ask Jim to write anything, within reason I assume. But be mindful of the character limit set by Dog Eared Books, which I believe is 30 characters this time around. I assume you add your 30 characters in the PayPal "Special Instructions to merchant" box before you pay. Otherwise my advice is to e-mail Tina at DEB with questions. She's very helpful.

Last year I asked Jim to write a goofy message in mine To Matt. Dude black magic is NOT "awesome candy". But Jim being the great guy he is, added to it - "IT IS MEGA-AWESOME CANDY!"

That is freaking outstanding. I hereby swipe the link for Twitter postage (please tell me you don't mind, 'cause this is the kind of thing the whole world needs to see). Cheesy

So he won't care if i ask him to write something? It just seems kind of rude to tell him what to write to me considering he's a NY Times best seller and all. Also I dont think i could come up with something as cool as the "awesome candy" line that Elanel did. Maybe i could just ask him to write whatever he wants?

Well I will go out on a limb here and say Jim is totally cool with what you ask for. After all if he wasn't he wouldn't do it at all would he? I mean I asked for five very different personalized messages last year because four of them were gifts for friends and I got them back, signed and personalized exactly as I had asked and then some. On another book for a friend I had him write "To Jessica & her doggies. I agree, Snape is evil!" to which he added "(they made write that)". Not saying he'll add extra text all the time, he won't, but just giving you an impression of the diversity of comments I gave, that he's happy to do and have fun with himself.

Go for it!
