Cool, I got the panelist thing too.  I'm always up for an opportunity to give my opinions. Cheesy

Me too - and I don't even live in the States and can't get half of the shows channels I was asked about!

That second link says the survey has already been completed ^.^

I think the way the surveys work is that once you are on the panel, the link they send you is specific to your account and one you have taken it, no one else can.

Be warned that if you tell them you watch a specific show, you could end up having to answer very detailed questions about the show, how you feel about each major character and so forth.  Of course, some questions are easy "People come to me to ask questions about TV shows I watch" or "I like to discuss TV shows I watch with my friends and family" - Strongly Agree...

I got on the panel too.  That's pretty suprising since I only watch maybe 5 shows weekly.  I guess I had another 5 or 6 that I put ocassionally on.

I didn't get any in-depth questions about Dresden Files but it was there as one of the choices of shows that I watch.

PS- Maybe we can get a large enough presence in the panel to skew the Dresden results higher. *wiggles*  Speaking of results... does anyone know what kind of numbers episode 3 of Dresden Files pulled in?  I really want a second (3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.) season.

I got on the panel too, even though I watch very little TV, mainly Dresden Files, Monk, Psych, Simpsons, House, My Name is Earl and South Park.  And I wasn't even asked about the Dresden Files, even though I listed Sci Fi as one of the channels I watched  Sad.

Actually, my husband got on the panel...probably because he watches a lot of Sci-Fi, as well as some of the classic movie channels.

It let me in and made me a panelist.  The scary thing was realizing how much TV I actually watch - well, I Tivo everything so it's not like I have to sit and watch when it's actually on.  But since I watch a variety of things, I think it could be fun to be on their panel.  I gave props to Dresden, Boston Legal, Earl, Scrubs & 30 Rock  Cool

I dont have TIVO, but those are the shows i marked up. And i am also a panelist. They must like poor students like me.

I wonder what the future surveys will be like!  Huh

I did the whole thing and it occured to me that there were some shows listed that haven't aired yet.

Drive was one of the shows that they listed that I plan on watching just because Nathan Fillion is on there. I didn't know what to answer because I've never seen it, but I am going to watch it...

It was a strange survey.

Have any of you that got selected received an email from them yet?  I wonder when/how often they contact us?

Hi, new here.  Smiley

I've been on the NBC panel for a while. I haven't kept track of how often I get emails about surveys, but there's been one every other month or so, maybe... Not enough to be annoying (like some survey systems).

I like being a part of it, because it gives me a chance to talk up the shows I feel worthy and yet possibly prone to being overlooked - for instance, I always go into great, praising detail if I'm asked to "explain what you like about Studio 60." Grin

I'm so tired of shows I like being cancelled, I take any opportunity to talk them up to anyone who'll listen - especially if that person actually has power to keep it on the air.
