The wait is finally over! After some major upheaval backstage, involving a change of publisher and artist, issue #6 of Storm Front is here! Issue #6 is illustrated by Ardian Syaf and Brett Booth, adapted for comics by Mark Powers. You can check out a five-page preview at Dynamite Entertainment. Not sure where to find a comics shop near you? Plug your zip code into Diamond's Comic Shop Locator! You can also order the issue online through the above link to Dynamite's website.

I'm glad that the comic is coming out again. I'm just sorry that Dabel Brothers did the same thing with the Dresden Files comic that they did with the Anita Blake comic. I was reluctant to pick up the Dresden Files comic specifically because of it, but I'm glad I did anyway. Hopefully things will go much better under Dynamite Entertainment

Cool! So looking at the preview for issue 6, I'm seeing the same artist that illustrated #1-5. But I seem to remember a while back something about switching artists, and seeing previews of the elevator scene from the new guy. Is that guy still on for future issues?

Ardian illustrated all but the last five pages. Brett picked up the slack. The end result is somewhat jarring, but what can you do?

I was very glad to pick this issue up at my local comic shop today. One question: does Brett Booth do his own inks? I see that Rick Ketcham is the inker credited for Ardian Syaf's pencils, but there's no inker credited with Brett's pages.

The new artist is terrible. I'm not trying to flame but the last one was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

His work is definitely a change from Ardian's. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see a full issue.

There are no inks on my pages, and after looking at the issue, the pages come out very badly. Once again they tried to make the pencils into inks and they didn't do it right. My regular colorist is doing the next issue so the pages should look much better, he knows how to handle the pencils correctly. Brett

Hopefully it will be November. I bought Vol I hardcopy, so just a few more months to go to complete the graphic novel.

That's good. They don't look that bad to me, though I can see how your colorist might be able to improve them. Thank you again for stepping in and drawing for the series. It would have been a shame if the production of these comics ended so soon. Hopefully things will go more smoothly from now on.

Wow, this is awesome news! I'm a big fan of Mr. Booth's work. Syaf didn't do a bad job or anything, but I think we'll see more depth and detail in the entire images that Brett delivers. Plus, I have more faith in Dynamite than Dabel.
Here's to a wonderful run, can't wait for everything to be out!
