I agree with whoever stated that flashback Harry slipped into Blackthorne's real accent, but it seemed to change as he talked about growing up, and it kind of made me think that the accent changed with each new place he lived... But I like to think the best of everything some people would call a mistake.
Hi, Sayessa.

That was me who commented on the accent change. I'll have to view the scene again and see if I catch it changing, as you noted. I didn't care that his accent changed (don't view it as a "mistake," per se) - I love both of Paul's voices! (did you see him in "Mr. Monk and the Leper"? yummy!) - I was just curious to hear if I'd been the only one to notice it. You noticed it, so now I know I'm not going any more insane than usual.

Harry's depression after killing Justin was great!
I agree! Much more depth/development for the character, in a few short scenes.
I've put "Bad Blood" on to play while I was falling asleep the last two nights (waited and again watched Bob crying and Harry mugging last night before I laid down and tried to sleep - that scene is priceless!), but I really do need to sit down and
watch it again. ....And can I say how much I
love interesting TV shows that I have to see more than once to catch everything?

Ancient Mai is another gripe of mine, she looked rather young to be labelled with the moniker "Ancient"
When she entered, Harry had a line to the effect of "That's a new look," so I got the impression that Mai changed appearances from time to time. (Of course, lacking book knowledge, I have to interpret the information the series presents...)
(On a side note, I picked up
Fool Moon last night, even though I haven't gotten to
Storm Front yet - I'm
that convinced I'm going to like it!

)
There are also treaties between the different political bodies, as that is also mentioned, yet if she had infringed something, then surely the "Court" would go after her, and not the council. The council going after her would possibly break said treaties?
Bianca wanted Harry to look into it for her because (she said) she was concerned "someone" (another vampire? The Council?) had broken the treaty and there was a war going on of which she was unaware. I didn't get the impression that she thought she'd infringed something herself.
I wonder if the series will be consistent with itself, or will suffer from the reset switch that is very prevalent in single episode series.
I hope it will be consistent! I could write pages upon pages regarding the changes made in
Highlander when the writing staff changed between seasons - whole histories rewritten.
