Ok, what's a Border's Express? Drive through shopping?

In the mall near me, the Borders Express is what used to be called Walden Books.

I was there over the weekend (purchasing book 3 and 4 in the series) and the lady there told me June 16.  I'm happy about that too, since I have to be camping with my son for Scouts the weekend before.

Are there any plans for Mr. Butcher to make an appearance in Michigan or nearby any time soon?

I really think an appearance in Chicago would be appropriate, since that is where Harry is based. I think I might be able to talk at least one person into going from Michigan as far as Chicago or an equal distance in Ohio or Indiana. I have read all the current Codex Alera books and just finished the latest Dresden Files book. I am impatient for the next but will wait because I understand great things take time. I have White Night in hardcover and would like to get it signed if Mr. Butcher were to visit our corner of the world.

I was wondering what happened to Waldenbooks.

Too bad I'll miss the signing, it'll be happening right in the middle of my sleep between 12 hour shifts.

Someday, though, I'll get to a signing.

I haven't been to a book signing aside from the time I saw Leonard Nimoy.  Can we only get one book singed?  Can only hard covers get signed?  Um, help?
