Oh, but it does. Harry is actually very respectful of authority that he considers 'legitimate'.
Granted; but he does personally
reserve judgement on who is legitimate and who not.
She smiled, rising. "I understand your refusal to allow another to control your life. It's a poisonous, repugnant notion to think of someone who would dictate your every move, impose upon you a code of behavior you could not accept, and refuse to allow you choice, expression, and the pursuit of your own heart's purpose."
"Pretty much," I said.
The fallen angel smiled. "Then believe me when I saw that I know precisely how you feel. All of the Fallen do."
A little cold spot formed in the pit of my stomach, in spite of the despite the hot tub.
Harry got a little reminder that his rebellious attitude isn't always a good thing, applied wrongly it could put him in the same category as Satan...who's knocking on his door already.
See, I read that not as putting Harry in the same not-always-good category as the Fallen, but putting the Fallen in the same category as Harry, and making them somewhat more understandable thereby. Suggesting, in other words, that in the Dresdenverse the Fallen might have a genuine point.
