True, it did need more promotion .... I loved the episode when I finally managed to watch it, but boy, you could tell which bits had been added in ..... I personally think it'd've been better if they'd dropped all the edited-in-from-aired-eps-flashbacks ... and of coourse Visible Bob would improve anything ....

Yeah, a lot of the quick shot flashbacks were a bit odd in this context. I don't think they would have provided much info for a person who was new to the series and if you were an existing fan then they felt sort of 'bolted on' as you were aware of where they really belonged.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't a network executive about to eat your favorite TV show..

I loved the feel of it! I loved Harry's confidence and Kirmani's bit made more sense, and I LOVED Harry mentioning the yellow pages ad! I even didn't want to throttle Susan - still don't care for her though. Smiley

I also loved the 2-hour pilot!  Strangely, of all the additions / changes, the one that sticks out in my mind the most is a tiny visual one (I don't really think it's a spoiler, but just in case folks don't want to know anything at all about the pilot):  in the very beginning, when they throw in the scene from "Things That Go Bump" where the runes on Harry's hockey stick glow and the sigils on the walls light up, the end of his hockey stick bursts into flame.  What a cool visual!
