Harry Dresden is on the case again, this time investigating a brutal mauling at the Lincoln Park Zoo that has left a security guard dead… and many questions unanswered. But Dresden isn't a private detective, looking for a murderer – he's a wizard, with the ability to interact with the magical world around our own, and to see that there's much more to this case than a simple animal attack. As Dresden begins to hunt for clues to figure out who is really behind this crime, he finds himself next on the victims list…

Cats don't hunt in packs... and that's one of the reasons Dresden knows he's up against something magical when a whole group of escaped leopards, tigers and lions attacks him. It hardly seems fair, since he's barely started the case. But then, that's what happens when you're a wizard investigating the paranormal for the police, especially when you're up against an ancient creature that is planning to become something even more terrifying than it already is...

In the city of Chicago, wizard for hire Harry Dresden switches from hunter to hunted as he continues following the trail of a supernatural killer haunting the Lincoln Park Zoo. The stakes increase and the tension ratchets higher as monstrous assassins and dark magic claim more innocent lives. Dresden must survive the killer's onslaught and turn the tables, and fast, before the body count rises -- and before the killer can reach her ultimate goal.

Thanks for the cover previews.  Any chance that the McGrath art will find its way on a t-shirt ?

Um, continuity issue: I thought the runes on Harry's staff only started glowing red when he gained access to Hellfire...

Yeah, well remember it is a McGrath cover.  In fact the one they are using for WttJ was an unused one for Proven Guilty.

Which is kinda appropriate - I always thought that particular cover made Harry look rather young.

IMHO, that's the cover that unintentionally gears itself towards the Supernatural fanbase. Wink
