A little over a month remains until Small Favor hits shelves!

Folks in the US have a variety of choices when it comes to snagging the book itself!  Here are our favorites:
  • Amazon/the Jim-Butcher.com Store -- Order through our referral link and a percentage of your purchase will go towards the site's server costs!
  • Buzzy Multimedia -- Support the publishers of the first four audio books AND this website in one go!
  • Dog-Eared Books -- Participate in their virtual signing!  Jim will also be signing Captain's Fury and the paperback White Night.  His wife Shannon will be signing her two romantic suspense novels, No Regrets and No Control.
  • The Signed Page -- Another virtual signing!

The Small Favor audiobook, also released April 1st, can be purchased from Amazon and Buzzy Multimedia.  Like the first four audiobooks, it is read by James Marsters.  The audios for books 5-9 will depend on the audio sales of "Small Favor" and upon Mr. Marsters' schedule and availability.

International Fans Rejoice!  For the first time, the Orbit/UK release is nearly simultaneous with the American release.  Pre-order Small Favor (or should we say Small Favour?) from Amazon UK, for an April 3rd release.

Ordered mine from Borders, but I'm getting "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Back-Up" via the store on this site.

I got White Night from Amazon.co.uk the day after it's US release last year. Pre-ordered Small Favor as well. Am taking the day off work... actually two days around that time. I'm not just taking the time off to read the book... Well, maybe just a little... okay, 50% reason is the book... maybe with inflation that's 85%... ah screw it, I'm ditching work to read the book.  Cheesy

Can I encourage everyone to buy a copy of the audio book?  I am a huge fan of James' performances, and I really, really want to see him record books 5 through 9.

By the way, I'll be buying my copy of the book either at a local store or through Chapters Indigo (like a good little Canadian).

Any news on an e-book version?

I lurb me my ebook reader, and my wife made me promise no more paper books for a while.  I'm specifically looking for Sony BBeB (.lrf) format, but I have less satisfactory workarounds for most other ebook formats.

I am sooooooo glad it's the middle of a night shift right now and there's no-one else within 500 m (metres, not miles) of me.
Read the release date on small favour, saw the cover would match the other British version, then I clapped my hands and squealed like a little girl in pigtails.   Roll Eyes
REALLY glad there weren't any aircrew around for that one.

Those of us living in Quebec are just waiting for Jim to be a big enough seller to get to the point like for exampe Stephen King, where the books are shipped out all over Canada over a few days to be in bookstores everywhere to be released on the release date, but the Francophone bookshops who have a tiny English section put everything out when they get it without waiting, so you can get the really big sellers easily a week before they are supposed to be out and sometimes more.

I should note:

Amazon's been doing a pre-order extra 5% discount.
