Congratulations to Jim Butcher for making it to the Barnes & Noble Bestsellers.  Small Favor is now number one on the BN Hard Cover Fiction Bestseller's list.

Oh yeah!  I was so happy when I saw this, I whipped out my phone and took the picture.
And this book (and this author of course) certainly deserve it!
Congratulations!

LOL - the first picture I took (and neglected to save) with my new phone was White Knight at the grocery store. When you are on sale in all the grocery stores, you've arrived!

This amuses me.  I had reserved my copy at the local Borders, so on the day it came out I went to pick it up.  No Small Favor.  Not only had they not gotten the books in, the woman I spoke with wasn't sure they'd been ordered, then tried to tell me I was talking about "Captain's Fury".  I left without, I might add, calling her names or hurting anyone.  I ended up down the street at Barnes and Noble, where they not only had the book, but had it in four different areas of the store.  I also got to kiss a clerk to get the book, but that's a whole 'nother story.

YAY!

I should go see if my clerk is working and kiss him some more.
