Oooh...

Thursday (my next day off from work, when I can go get my copy of this) cannot come fast enough... Nor can the copy of issue #2 that I got the winning bid for, on eBay, which is en route in the mail...

Well believe me, Mike, I calculated the odds of this succeeding versus the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid... and I went ahead anyway.

There's a problem.
I can buy #3 at 11:00 AM but I can't read it at my leisure till I get home after 8:00 PM

My life is not in sync.

I need a lottery ticket. Tongue

Huzzah for having it reserved at the local comic store -- just waiting for me to come get it!

Less than four months 'til October, less than four months 'til October. . .

But seriously, this looks great. I really like the look of The Beetle (still all blue, I notice), as well as - actually, there's nothing I don't like the look of.  Cool

Just came home with Issue #3, but Issue #2 must still be en route in the mail after I got the winning eBay bid on this particular copy. I'm trying to wait and read it after I#2 has arrived but that is soooo haaaaaard! :: Laughs::

I picked up my #3's with the different covers.  The McGrath cover was so dark you can hardly make out the details?   Sad   Anyone else run into that problem?  This was the first time that I preferred the other artist's cover so I'm not miffed too much, just disappointed.

Any news on comics beyond the first set of four?

Yup.  The first issue of "Storm Front" will hit stores in October, coinciding with the Welcome to the Jungle trade.  Ardian Syaf is staying on as the penciler, and Mark Powers (X-Men, Spooks, GI JOE) is adapting the script.

We've got some REALLY exciting names attached to the alternate covers, but I'm not allowed to spill those beans yet. Cheesy
