LOL I so want a CD now!  I'll have to look for you when Pennsic comes closer!

You can always just order them from me.

Okay if I can get a room set aside for us for an hour or so, who all would be interested in coming to the Con? We could do a mini-Butchercon.

I'm also from Pittsburgh, so count me in. Also count me in on anything we can do to get Jim to the con. I'll send emails, snailmails, make phonecalls, kidnap people and tickle them till they agree to our demands, anything!

Oooh, Comicon! I live in the 'burgh and would LOVE to see Jim there! Especially since I was counting on meeting him at Moonlight Rising and that collapsed (see, Jim, it doesn't always pay to schedule something a year in advance!)

If Jim were to come to the ComicCon, I would so be there.  And even if he can't, I think the idea of a mini-ButcherCon is a great idea!  How much are the tickets?

Hey guys, I realize the topic is a bit old and I may have to start a new thread, but I just wanted to let you all know that the Pittsburgh Comicon has been in contact with Jim's agent.  It seems that the earliest he would be available is 2012.  However, we are interested in having him as a guest.  Also, for those that got the comic mini-series adaptation of Storm Front, or the collections, the editor of the books, David Lawrence, will be at the show.  Perhaps, if he is given enough of a request, he can convince his company to bring Jim in for the April 2010 show.

I appreciate and share the enthusiasm of seeing JB in Pittsburgh Sooner rather than Later, but if he's already got a commitment, it's not a matter of choice or convincing.  And if he's got the time scheduled as Jim Time, best let him have some of that undisturbed.  I'm sure we'd be pretty cheesed off if we were planning on attending an event with him, but someone else talked him into hitting theirs.  Best to stick with the "Proper Channels" so as not to pester the Revered Author.

All true.

... yet I still find the time to send him the occasional open e-mail calling him a torturing bastard. Cheesy
