Had to order my copy online, but it finally came yesterday and I really enjoyed it.  I can't wait for the next one.

Castle: (Pauses) Santa's not real. We still love opening his presents.

Anyone know what the story is with the Dabel Brothers? Did they just fall on hard times, lack of funds, and or lack of liquidity or was it something more insidious? I just figured maybe they over extended themselves on a print run and didn't have the capital to continue. I've not see any details of the agreement with Dynamite? I'm kind of curious.

I'm glad Dynamite picked them up. Some of they're titles are pretty good.

I honestly do not know. I know that on the TC side, there was no drama, we were simply told Dynamite was buying the title and they wanted us to come over with it.

Finally got to pick up #6. I am casting my vote for Brett. It's hard to pick up on another artists work and stay true to your own vision, but I think he did a great job and i look forward to seeing more.

The change in art style was a little jarring, as was the number of typos (!) But I am glad to see that comics are finally coming out again.

There are no typos. Only features.

Okay, I suppose when Harry said "I lied down on the floor" it could have been true, but I don't think that was the intention.  Wink
Also, "Ammit, Dad"?

I found a preview issues at a local comic shop. Does anyone know if it's the proposed issue from Dabel bros? I picked it up in case it was a rare issue but I'm not 100% it is. It says exclusive preview so I figured meh what the hay it's only like 3 or 4 bucks and worth a gamble. Even if it's a duplicate of something I already had.

From what I can tell though Babel has sold of alot of it's properties to Mavel and others. Dynamite does decent work. I bought some of they're Terminator comics and they were decent. I would say up to par with Babel. Although I still remember comics from when I was in fifth grade and they cost $0.65, so anything from there is an utter improvement.

I wonder though if by making the comics better visually and increasing the price we're pricing out kids. I'm picking up stuff and collecting for my son because I want him to have a collection he can dive into before I give him my old one. I wonder though for the average joe if three to four bucks is too high for the average fifth or sixth grader. I stopped collecting initially in highschool when I started dating. I figured I had a choice, comics or girls and couldn't afford both. Girls one out.

Harry can only lie if he's at ground level, and Ammit is a clue to the big villain in book 19.

Really, I swear!
