(Now that we have a title for it, we might as well give it its own thread, independent of Supernatural Wedding.)

Thanks to P.N. Elrod's livejournal post on the subject, we now have the title for Jim's story in the upcoming anthology My Big Fat Supernatural Honeymoon!  It will be called "Heorot," which is the name of the mead hall Beowulf defended from Grendel in the great epic.  I think I'm even more curious about the story now!

Read more about the anthology and its contributors here.  It's due for release December 26th, 2007, and you can preorder it here.  Also, you can buy its predecessor My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding or preorder Many Bloody Returns, the other upcoming anthology featuring a short story by Jim, on Amazon.com.

Ooooh, that title does not bode well.  I can hardly wait to read it!   Cheesy

I'm guessing it has something to do with Michael and Charity. I have a feeling her buddies in that cult group didn't let her go without a fight, and probably sent something after them to try and wreck the beginning of their married life together.

I was under the impression that her buddies in that cult got eaten.

Not all of them: I think the head-honcho survived, wasn't he the one who (tried to) sic the dragon on her?

Unless the head honcho attacked first, I doubt he'd go after the guy. More likely, he just nailed the dragon.
